This set of 4 pieced coasters can also easily be made into small heart pillows. Entirely constructed in the hoop, this set stitches up quickly and is perfect for using up small scraps of fabric. This is a versatile set. Make them seasonal by varying your choice of fabrics. One of the coasters has enough room for a name or initials. (Font is not included.) Use the coaster to place a bride and groom’s initials and maybe the date of the wedding? That way they could be handed out as a bridal shower gift as a reminder of the wedding date. If you make the designs into small pillows, you could fill them with lavender and make them sachets. Fill them with polyester stuffing and hang one from a baby’s crib post or peg board. They could also be used as pincushions.
