The kitty and tiger felt softies are fun and simple to make! The appliqued shapes are stitched by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges. The outside edges of the bodies are stitched by machine (instructions are also included to use hand stitching around outside edges, if you prefer not to use a sewing machine). A straight stitch is used for the muzzle line. The body-head-ears-arms-&-legs are all together in one pattern shape for each softie – they are not attached separately which can be time consuming and difficult. The finished animals are approximately 6” x 10”. Safety eyes are used for samples – other options for the eyes, are to make them using embroidery, paint, felt or buttons.
